Siderúrgica del Turbio , S.A. Sidetur, is Sivensa's steel division. Its productive activities range from the gathering and processing of ferrous scrap to the elaboration of finished steel products for the construction industry and millwork.

Sidetur has the following industrial facilities: 12 scrap gathering fields, two steel mils ( Barquisimeto and Casima), four lamination trains ( Barquisimeto , Planta Antímano, Planta Lara and Planta Guarenas) and a plant for electrowelded mesh and Sidepanel construction systems (Planta Valencia ).

Sidetur's annual rated capacity is 835,000 metric tons of products at the steel mills; 615,000 metric tons of laminated products and 67,000 metric tons of electrowelded products.

Located in Barquisimeto, State of Lara, this plant is engaged in the manufacture of steel billets and has a rated production capacity of 375 thousand tons per year. This steel mill is fed mainly with scrap, but also with briquettes from Opco, Venprecar and Orinoco Iron. All the steel billets produced at the Barquisimeto Steel Mill are transformed in the lamination trains at Barquisimeto, Planta Lara, and Antímano.

Located in Puerto Ordaz, State of Bolívar, this plant manufactures steel billets and has a rated production capacity of 460 thousand tons per year. This steel mill is fed mainly with iron ore briquettes acquired from Opco, Venprecar and Orinoco Iron, and also with ferrous scrap. The steel billets produced at the Casima Steel Mill are transformed at the lamination trains of Planta Antímano and Planta Guarenas. Casima also produces steel billets for the export market and is Sidetur's facility with the highest sales in the foreign market.

Located next to the Barquisimeto Steel Mill. Its main production are beams of various formats (I and U) and steel angles. It has a rated annual production capacity is 120 thousand metric tons and is fed with the steel billets produced by the Barquisimeto Steel Mill.

Located near the Barquisimeto Steel Mill. It produces a varied range of long steel products of small sections. Its rated annual production capacity is 60 thousand metric tons and is fed with the steel billets produced by the Barquisimeto Steel Mill.

Located at Zona Industrial La Yaguara, in Caracas. Its main production is reinforcing bars and rods in various diameters. Its rated annual production capacity is 360 thousand metric tons and is fed with the steel billets produced at the Barquisimeto and Casima Steel Mills.

Located in Zona Industrial de Guarenas, State of Miranda. It produces a varied range of long steel products with large diameters. Its rated annual production capacity is 75 thousand metric tons and is fed with the steel billets produced at the Casima Steel Mill.

Located in Zona Industrial de Valencia, State of Carabobo. It is a plant engaged in the production of electrowelded meshes with a rated annual production capacity of 67,000 metric tons. It also produces Sidepanel construction systems. The main raw material used by this plant is wire rod acquired mainly from Sidor.
